
Sally Ramirez is an accomplished actress whose television credits include shows such
as The Young and The Restless, the PBS series American Family, with James Edward
Olmos, Arrest & Trial, Alright Already, and PAX TV's It's a Miracle. Stage
credits include off-off Broadway, the Guthrie Theater and Mixed Blood in Minneapolis,
and the Goodman Theater in Chicago. Sally played Madrigal in the Kitchen
Theater’s 2009 production of “I Become A Guitar.” In 2012 she performed with
Doug Robinson and their band “Arco Iris” at the Hangar Theatre’s “CabarEtc.” Sally is a classically trained vocalist, whose music covers the range from opera to folk. She has performed in musical theater, operettas, and jazz venues throughout the country. She performs regularly with Doug Robinson as the duo “Sally and Doug.” In 2010 they released their first CD, “Crimson.” Sally has written and produced a school assembly program called “Latin and World Music: A Journey In Song,” which Sally and Doug perform throughout the country. She also performs in various Latin jazz groups, including Jorge Cuevas’ Caribe Jazz All Stars and Rising Sign. |
